Here’s another press publication that Upian has had the pleasure of working with for several years now on its digital evolution, from both a graphic and technical standpoint.
Towards the end of 2009, lesinrocks.com asked us to bid on a hot project that resulted from the arrival of Arnaud Aubron as new editor-in-chief. Since we’d worked with for two years on rue89.com, we already knew him pretty well.
His goal: to make the lesinrocks.com site a cultural reference that reflected the magazine’s strong values. To grow the audience, of course, but also to maintain the site’s profitability, which already benefitted from a great advertising/traffic ratio.
In April 2012, Upian launched a new version to reflect changes in editorial policy, namely, the inclusion of current events.
Then, we led the technical redesign, which included the addition of a concert section and the replacement of the existing administration tool with a custom WordPress content management system.
In 2014, the creation of Les Inrocks Lab, a subsite hosting a contest for young emerging talent. Upian was responsible for the functional and graphic design, and led the development carried out by the Mahi-Mahi agency.
